❄️ Winter Romance Wedding Flowers

Frosty, romantic and beautifully wintry

If you're dreaming of wedding flowers that feel magical, romantic and beautifully wintery, Winter Romance could be the perfect style for your wedding.

Think frosty whites, deep green foliage, silver accents, soft berry tones and, if you fancy it, those gorgeous rich Christmas reds.

This theme can be wonderfully elegant and understated, or you can turn up the festive feeling with deep reds, berries and winter greenery for a wedding that feels like Christmas without becoming too traditional.

And because everything at The Bloomery is made to order, this is simply your starting point. You can choose the colours, flowers and overall feel to create wedding flowers that are completely yours.

❄️ What makes Winter Romance so beautiful?

Winter wedding flowers don't have to mean traditional Christmas flowers.

This palette is all about contrast — crisp whites against deep greenery, soft silver against richer berry tones, with delicate flowers creating that lovely romantic winter feeling.

Some flowers and foliage that can work beautifully with this style include:

🤍 White & ivory blooms – create that beautiful frosty, snowy feel

🌹 Deep red roses – perfect for a richer romantic or Christmas-inspired look

❤️ Berry-toned blooms – add warmth and depth without feeling overly festive

🌿 Deep green foliage – creates that classic winter greenery look

✨ Silver foliage & accents – add a little sparkle and frosty detail

🌲 Pine & winter-style greenery – perfect for a more traditional winter feel

🤍 Gypsophila – creates a delicate, snowy effect amongst richer flowers

🌸 White Roses & Peonies – soft, romantic blooms that work beautifully in a winter palette

These are just ideas to get you started — you don't have to choose all of them.

💐 From Bridal Bouquet to Wedding Day Flowers

Your Winter Romance theme can run throughout as much or as little of your wedding as you'd like.

Bridal Bouquets

Create a soft, frosty bouquet of white and ivory blooms with silver foliage, or add deep red and berry tones for a richer winter look.

Bridesmaid Bouquets

Your bridesmaids could carry coordinating bouquets, perhaps with softer whites and greenery while your bridal bouquet has deeper colour.

Buttonholes & Corsages

Bring those winter colours into your wedding party with coordinating buttonholes, ladies' buttonholes and corsages.

Table Flowers & Centrepieces

Winter greenery, berries, white flowers and silver details can create beautiful table arrangements with a lovely seasonal feel.

Venue & Ceremony Flowers

Larger winter arrangements can make a real impact around your ceremony or reception, particularly when combined with deep greenery.

Cake Flowers & Finishing Touches

A few frosty white flowers, berries or sprigs of greenery can be a gorgeous finishing touch to your wedding cake.

You choose how much or how little you need.

🌸 Your Flowers, Your Way

The flowers shown throughout The Bloomery are examples and inspiration rather than off-the-shelf products.

Maybe you want an all-white winter bouquet with just a little silver.

Perhaps you're dreaming of deep red roses and rich greenery.

Or maybe you want the full Christmas look with berries, red flowers and traditional winter foliage.

That's absolutely fine.

We can change the flowers, colours, foliage, shape and overall style to create something that works with your wedding and your budget.

Whether you've saved snowy winter bouquets, Christmas wedding tables, woodland-inspired arrangements or just one image that captures the feeling you're after, it can be a brilliant starting point.

And if Pinterest isn't your thing, screenshots, photographs, Instagram saves, magazines or even a few words describing what you like are all welcome.

Beautiful Flowers Without the Wedding Price Tag

We created The Bloomery because we don't believe you need to spend a fortune on wedding flowers to have something beautiful.

Artificial flowers are particularly lovely for winter weddings because you don't have to worry about cold weather, delicate fresh flowers or seasonal availability affecting your arrangements.

And there's another big advantage...

You get to keep them. 🤍

Your bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, ladies' buttonholes, corsages and other smaller arrangements can be yours to treasure after the wedding.

For larger arrangements and displays, we can offer a rental option, helping you create a beautiful winter floral look throughout your venue without having to purchase and store large arrangements afterwards.

So you can spend your budget where it matters most to you.

Beautiful flowers. Your style. Your budget. A keepsake to treasure.

📸 See how your flowers come together

One of the lovely things about having your flowers created especially for you is that you don't have to wait until your wedding morning to see the finished result.

We'll keep you updated throughout the process, sharing photographs, videos and ideas as your flowers come together.

Where appropriate, we'll also create mock-up ideas or samples so you can get a feel for the finished look.

You'll be able to see your flowers taking shape before your big day. 🤍

FAQ's

Are the flowers shown available to buy exactly as pictured?

Not exactly. The flowers shown throughout this page are examples and inspiration. Your wedding flowers will be created especially for you based on your chosen flowers, colours, style and budget.

Is Winter Romance only for Christmas weddings?

Not at all!

The frosty whites, deep greens and silver elements work beautifully throughout the winter season.

If you're getting married in December, you can add Christmas reds, berries and festive greenery for a more seasonal feel.

Do I have to have Christmas red?

Absolutely not.

You can keep your wedding flowers completely white and ivory, add silver and greenery, or choose soft berry tones instead.

The Christmas red is simply an option if you'd like to make the look more festive.

Can I have a Christmas wedding without making it look too Christmassy?

Definitely.

We can create a winter wedding palette using white, ivory, silver and deep greenery, with just subtle hints of red or berries.

You can have the winter magic without turning your bouquet into a Christmas wreath!

Can I choose the flowers?

Of course.

You can tell us your favourite flowers, show us your inspiration or simply tell us the overall look you're after. We'll work with you to create something that fits.

Can I keep my flowers?

Yes. Bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, corsages and other smaller arrangements are yours to keep.

Larger floral displays can be available to rent, helping you keep the overall cost down.

How much will my Winter Romance wedding flowers cost?

There's no fixed price because every wedding is different.

Our Wedding Flower Prices page gives you starting prices for bridal bouquets, bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, corsages and wedding packages.

Your final quote will depend on the flowers, sizes, quantities and designs you choose.

Our aim is always beautiful flowers without the wedding price tag.

How do I book?

Get in touch with your wedding date, venue and any ideas or inspiration you have. We'll chat through what you're looking for and put together a quote.

A booking fee is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due approximately 8 weeks before your wedding.

When will I receive my flowers?

We aim to have your keepsake flowers with you at least 2 weeks before your wedding day wherever possible.

Larger rented displays that we're delivering and setting up at your venue will be arranged with you in advance.

Where do you deliver?

We're based in Southport and can arrange local delivery, while smaller items such as bouquets and buttonholes can be posted or sent by courier.

For larger floral arrangements, we offer delivery and setup at venues around 20 miles of Southport, subject to availability.
